Frequently Asked Questions?

Who are nose strips suitable for?

Anyone can use AtemenWald® nasal strips! They are safe for adults and children aged 5 and up. No matter who you are or where you are – our nasal strips will support you.
Important note: People with a latex allergy should not use this product.

How long can I wear the nose strips?

We recommend wearing the strip for up to 12 hours (e.g., overnight or during sports). If skin irritation or redness occurs, please discontinue use. Each strip is for single use only – please use a new strip each time.

Will it help with my snoring?

Nasal strips help reduce snoring by mechanically opening the nasal passages and thus facilitating breathing. However, please note that snoring can also have other causes, such as sleeping position or anatomical factors, which the strips cannot influence.

How do nose strips work?

The effect is purely mechanical and drug-free. The strip's flexible structure creates a gentle pulling force that slightly lifts the nostrils. This widens the nasal opening, improves airflow, and immediately eases breathing.

Are they suitable for sports?

Absolutely. Nasal strips support athletes by keeping their nasal passages open and optimizing breathing. The improved airflow increases oxygen intake, which can positively influence endurance and performance during training.

Why is nasal breathing important?

Nasal breathing is essential because the nose filters, humidifies, and warms the air we breathe. Unlike mouth breathing, it supports oxygenation and promotes the release of nitric oxide, which can contribute to better blood circulation and physical performance.

What should I do if I'm still snoring?

Although nasal strips can be very effective, they primarily address nasal breathing problems. If your snoring has other causes (e.g., sleep apnea, weight), a nasal strip may not be sufficient. In persistent cases, we recommend a medical examination.

Who should not use nose strips?

Children under 5 years of age and people with a latex allergy should not use this product, as the packaging may contain natural rubber latex. Do not use the strips on broken, sunburned, or irritated skin.

What problems can nose strips help with?

AtmenWald® is ideal if you snore, sleep poorly, wake up with a dry mouth, or want to optimize your training. It also offers noticeable relief for nasal breathing difficulties caused by colds, allergies, or a deviated septum.
